Our Head Brewer Ian recently made a rather delicious vegan chocolate ginger cake and we all unanimously agreed that we wanted to not only have another slice but be able drink it as well. This beer is Ian’s liquid version of that cake. Packed full of crystallised ginger in the kettle and finished off with generous helpings of vanilla pods and cacao nibs, this beer is a well rounded belter. Delish.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured a slightly hazy medium brown colour with a lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, ginger, light coffee, dark chocolate, charcoal, liqourice. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, dry ginger, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
