Bottle from Tanakaya. Rich raisin, plums, pudding, chocolate, light citrus. Awesome nose. Notes of port too. Dark brown with lace, red tints. Sweet and fruity, tons of dried fruits, plum, raisin, grape, orange, awesome stuff. Smooth and silky, not heavy. Light carbonation. Lovely.

33 cl bottle @ Tรถรถlรถ, BBE 04/2025. Aroma has rye bread and rye pudding. Also some spice. Feels sweet. Flavour has caramel, toffee, mild spiciness and some licorice. Also sweet maltyness typical to barley wines. Dryish finish with some nuts and mild warming alcohol. Very typical Traquair beer and close to Jacobite Ale. Balanced and nice.

330ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, May 16, courtesy of myself. From trade with AshtonMcCobb. Pours clear deep amber. Caramel malt aroma. Taste is nice warming sweet caramel, smooth and tasty, but expected richer flavours.

Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver
Dark brown color with compact beige head, not persistent. Mild aroma, some sugar and some vegetables, not well developed. Lean body, with very light residual sweetness; quite smooth; it has a nice flavor of dark caramel with a nutty touch; but the malts are shy overall; in the final there are tiny traces of vegetables, fennel, liquorice, and the feeling is weaker; low bitterness.

Great balance. Tastes like a Belgian dark. Light smoke and some tobacco. Light floral and a hint of peat. Dark brown pour with great head and lacing. Light tangy and sweet finish. Bottle at the strath.
