An ipa a day keeps the doctor away, pine, resinous, citrus, bitter, but hey who cares when you’re on the beach in 🇪🇸

Can picked up from carrefour. A light hazed deep orange coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is zesty orange, semi sweet, light soap, grass. Flavour is composed of sticky tangerine, orange rind, biscuit malt, firm grassy bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, highish carbonation. Some mineral in the finish.

Dose 0,33l: Bernstein, deutliche Trübung, sehr kräftiger + sehr stabiler mittelporiger Schaum; sehr fruchtige + leicht würzige Nase, leichte Süße, Zitrusnoten, exotische Früchte, Ananas, Mango, Maracuja, kräftige frische Hopfennoten, florale/kräutrige Noten, dezent Pinie, kräftig Malz, Getreide, kräftige Hefearomen, würzig-fruchtige Bitterkeit; fruchtiger + recht würziger Körper, eher trockene Zitrusnoten, leichte fruchtige Säure, Limetten, Grapefruit, Grapefruitzest, florale/kräutrige Hopfennoten, Malz, Getreide, cremig, moderate Kohlensäure, Hefearomen; fruchtig-würziger Nachgang

Hazy golden in the glass and a fine head Ok intensity in the aroma Moderate sweet and a mild bitterness. Short ending Fine carbonation level. Easy to drink Pale malt, mild citric and mild fruity flavor [Can from Andreas] Sweden - Norway 1-2

Can 330ml (Carrefour Badajoz). Hazy yellow colour and medium-sized white head. Cut grass, riped fruits in the nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Overriped pineapple, grass in the flavour. Some good hoppy elements but with industrial vibe.

Couleur pâle, col épais crémeux soyeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme est frais bien houblonné sans avoir ce côté 'wow factor', mais offrant des notes classiques des ipa californiennes surfant sur les agrumes et l'herbacé. Nez garde une approche de malts pâle et pils, léger grains concassés.
Palais est sur une base assez classique IPA rappelant les anciennes West coast. Pas mauvais mais San Miguel se lance dans le domaine avec plus de 10 ans de retard. Le tout est modéré sur le fruité, notes d'agrumes sur les pamplemousses avec une pointe herbacée en fin de bouche avec une petite note de peau de pêche - le tout est assez orienté sur les C-hops/CTZ - par ailleurs le terme Yakima Valley reste très vague tant ils produisent une bonne centaine de variétés. Je suppose ici que cela reste dans un houblonné de base US.
In fine, pas mauvaise, classique et un bon changement dans une mer de neipa.

330ml bottle from National Brewery Centre, Burton on Trent. Pours a misty amber, small pure white head. Aroma of ripe orangey fruit, marmalade. Continues to taste, quite flavoursome and sweet, assorted fruit salad, not massively harmonious, some pine and sticky moments. Ok.

Bottle, small bubbly head, clear dark gold colour,aroma of malt and citrusy fruity hops with a hint of metal, flavor of malt and fruit drops with a medium herbal bitterness.Ok but probably a bit old.
