A rare Midwest Fruit Tart offering, made with a single varietal of sour dark cherry, the Balaton cherry. A newer varietal of tart cherry, this beer was designed to highlight all the wonderful depth this cherry has to offer.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clear, deep ruby red with a finger of pink foam that dissipates. Lovely big, bright tart cherry aromas on the nose. Tart cherry skin and stone on the palate. With more lingering cherry notes. Tart cherry finish with some sweet cherry notes as well. ABV hidden well.

Can from explosivedog: pours reddish with a white head. Aroma is cherry and light funk. Taste is cherry and somewhat sour. Not very acidic at all. Solid beer.

Can. Pours deep red. Cherry, raspberry, sour, blackberry, little tannic. Medium body. Decent.
