500 ml bottle. Cloudy brown with a fluffy head. Caramel, hazelnuts, hay, dark bread, light dry citrus notes. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry malty finish. Really good dunkles Weißbier!

Swing top bottle. Dark brown color. Banana and caramel in the aroma and flavor. Hints of roast and citrus. Soft herbal notes. Sweetish. Hopjesvla. Decent.

50cl bottle shared at the Paas monthly tasting. Thin white head. Clear amber pour. Refreshing

20-08-16 // 500ml bottle from the brewery. Pours an amber-brown colour. Naturally clody, big white frothyhead. Yeast and banana in the nose. Strong malt notes in the beginning in the end banana and yeast. Medium sweet.

First association is bread., but more malty. Aroma is typically Hefeweizen. Very easy to drink despite the heavy aromas. The carbonation is well-balanced. All in all a very likable beer.

Pours a hazy brown colour with a large white head. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, wheat, spices and cloves.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, röstmalzig, leicht fruchtig würzig. Geschmack hefig, leicht würzig, leicht fruchtig.

Had this 6 years ago in Hotel Zum Bären, Zell (Bavaria), a stone’s throw away from the brewery, on a hot humid day. Today is a similar day in Amsterdam with a bottle purchased from the brewery about 5 weeks ago. Color of dark caramel, naturally cloudy. A firm off white head with quite long retention. Aroma’s of caramel, banana, wheat, a bit spices. Flavor is lightly caramel-sweet, wheaty. Body could have been a tad bit fuller. All in all tasty & refreshing.
