Brewed with fresh pineapple juice and fragrant Denali hops, our Pineapple Milkshake IPA is a big-hitting juice bomb with a huge fruity aroma and a delicious spiky bitterness. We’ve added lactose in the boil here to offer a smooth, creamy texture as well as adding an extra layer of sweetness. As well as the sweetness and extra mouthfeel, the lactose provides a very subtle hint of vanilla which blends beautifully with the pineapple to leave a perfectly balanced pint with layers of flavour and texture.

Golden beer, filmy head. Fruity lactose smell. Taste is initially a shit of sweet citrusy pineapple but it does mellow into something a little tarter and drier, with the lactose quite distinct.

330ml can: BB 21st Dec 19. Poured into a La Chouffe tulip glass at home on 10th May 19, my third beer in a mini-tasting session with myself as the wife is out at a girls only party. Poured a clear light amber, wispy white head. Lactose like feel (semi-milkshake like) with a Pineapple leaning aroma and taste wise. Different, interesting and for me, enjoyable. My sweet tooth picking up caramel, butterscotch and toffee sweetness within the brew.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Waitrose. Pours clear copper-gold with a foamy, white head. Moderately sweet with some ripening citrus fruits, melon, nips of vanilla, bready malts, soft piney bitterness. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine to average carbonation. Fairly sweet finish, with more creamy vanilla aspect, more melon, tangerine, a hint of grass, orange rind. Not bad overall.
