Four big-hitting hops come together to create a sessionable, hop-forward Pale Ale with the intensity of a new world IPA. Amarillo, Chinook and Simcoe from the USA work in harmony with New Zealand’s Nelson Sauvin to produce a punchbowl aroma of lemon, tangerine and gooseberry, followed by a balanced grapefruit bitterness.

Half pint, keg at Piccadilly Tap. Shared with Finn. Patchy layer to a near-clear warm golden body. Spotty lacing down the glass. Inviting smell of tropical fruits, mid-sweet. Ripe citrus fruity flavours, additional notes of peaches and leafy hops. Dry bitter ending. Easy to drink. Like it. (Manchester 05.02.2019)

Can: Poured a golden with a white head. Aroma is nice edgy hops. Taste is gritty hops, very lively on the palate. Surprised this is a session IPA.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Gold with a thick white head and a moderate fluffy fizz. Wow, this beer's in superb condition - my compliments to the pub's cellar staff. It tastes of grapefruit, black pepper and gooseberry with a clean and moderately bitter finish. It's got a surprisingly full body for the style. Satisfying and refreshing, it's a really good beer. Best of the fest so far, and proof that session IPAs can be better in cask than keg (providing that the condition is good, obviously).

2nd April 2018, Keg pint in The Bacchus, Birmingham. Golden in colour, white/off-white head. Seemed like half an IPA, half a Pale Lager in both looks and aroma/taste. Light citrus leanings in a crisp and refreshing, highly carbonated body.
