Bottle from Aldi, Keighley. Pale golden colour with a small carbonation and a thin bubbly head. Crisp with a very light sweetness attached to its nose, although not very stated in any flavours or malts.

1st beer in a ’random tasting night’ with myself, all alone, etc, etc, on 2nd July 2015. Clear 33cl bottle, part of a set of three (all the same) from a UK Aldi store. Poured into a Coors Banquet badged tall vase it looks very pale golde, clean and bright: thin white head. Corn and slight citrus notes in the taste, same in a weak aroma. I didn’t expect much and wasn’t disappointed. I think the packaging mention Mexican style lager: I can go with that, straw coloured, fizzy and uninteresting, like most Mexican lagers I have tried so far. Luckily my Son-in-Law likes this sort of thing, so he gets the other two bottles!

3 pack of 330ml bottles from the local Aldi - Golden colour. Very small head, disappears quickly. Corn all over the aroma. Sweet body, corn, oily, sugary. I’d be surprised if this wasn’t Asda’s Rapaz re-badged - it is almost identical, but then so is Corona.
