Slightly hazy golden tinted body with a rich caramel and copper glow and a two centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of grass, light wort, malt, mellow fruity sugars and a touch of herbal and dry hops. Light-bodied; Sharp malt flavour at first with a good yeast quality, some subdued sweetness and a lot of effervescence later on - all dry and herbal. Aftertaste shows a nice dry fruity flavour with some malt, light hops and a touch of sugars, but very easy to drink. Overall, not such a bad beer - a good amount of flavour, but still very light and easy to drink with nothing assertive nor bitter, good for someone trying to sample real beer instead of the mass produced SAB products. I sampled this 440 mL bottle purchased from Tops - Cape Quarter (Green Point) in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa on 14-August-2015 for ZAR26,99 sampled back home on the other side of the world in Washington on 15-April-2016 and despite the relatively mild flavours, I didn’t mind carrying this halfway around the world to sample it!

Bottle @sbwf15. Pours golden color with a thin white head. Mushrooms, vegetables in aroma. Mushrooms in flavor, mild citrusy notes. Still, it’s not that bad.

Robert brought this one for me from a trip to South Africa. +++ Sampled from a 16 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a small soapy white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweetish, yeasty and a touch grassy. The flavor was tangy yet dryish with cardboard, bread, a hint of grassy hops and citrus. Medium length tangy bread and citrus finish. Medium body. Meh.
