JUPA is a 5.5% juicy, fruity Pale Ale and the newest addition to our core range.
Hopped with Simcoe in the boil and dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic, JUPA has bold, juicy citrus flavours and a tropical fruit character bursting with pineapple, mango and papaya. It was brewed with a touch of wheat and oats for a silky malt backbone, allowing the West Coast hops to shine.
JUPA’s low bitterness differentiates it from our Pale Ale and XPA and makes it a real thirst-quencher that’s juicy and totally crushable.

The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, crisp, grainy, light citrus, light dry pepper spice, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

[33cl can from the Beer52 box for March.] A hazy pale amber pour with a billowing white head and lively carbonation; aroma of pineapple and mango; rather flabby and indistinct fruity body with a citric bitterness; and some warmth and spice in the finish. A so-so IPA.

330ml can at home on 22nd Feb 2019. Poured into a Leffe chalice, misty dull gold, wispy white head. Tropical fruits in the aroma and taste, citrusy bitterness to the fore, yet with a fruit led semi-sweetness also. Wheatabix notes too. Liked it.
