Bottle courtesy of Idiosynkrasie. Pours bright gold with an average sized white head. Aroma of grass, straw, yeast, wheat and citrus with mild peppery notes. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness, just a hint of sour. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Sweet, fruity finish.

Pours clear indeed ! Lightblonde. Medium white head fades rather fast. Smell is typical weissen ( bublegum, banana, cloves ) but perhaps a tad more on the sweet side. Taste is typical weissen as well. Perhaps a tad more bitterness than im used to for the style. Phenolic and esthers, but not as creamy as i'd expect. Medium high to high carbo. Medium to medium low mf. Decent.

0.5 l bottle from local 'trinkgut', best before March 2018. Clear, golden with a large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of lots of banana, clove and some vanilla. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, fairly yeasty-spicy and a bit watery taste of banana, clove and vanilla, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, minimally tartish, fairly yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Solid.

Bottle (from billa timisoara). Pours clear golden. Aroma is fruity, banana, wheat. Flavor is sweet, wheat, fruits, banana. Boody is bit watery. Carbonation is high. Overall: not bad, but regular hefe is a lot better.

Bottle. Clear light golden, high white head. Aroma: banana, clove, yeast, bubblegum. Taste: banana, clove, fruity sourness, orange peel, hint of spicy hops. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Refreshing, drinkable.

(Kiev 2016) 500 ml. bottle. BBF 02.11.16. Clear indeed, sparkling golden, little fizzy egg-white head. Nose is dull banana, faint DE fish guts yeast, sweet grain, low wheat, touch watery. Taste is bit neutral banana, easy, low DE fish guts, neutral sweet, mellow apple, low cardboard. Sparkling. Overall, clean, easy enjoyable, tad bland, cardboard bit in the end got a bit to me & lessened my enjoyment a touch. This one pales next to the Weisse Original but I knew what I was getting into when I got a Kristallweizen, I rarely come across a Kristallweizen, wanted to tick one.
