Brown 66cl bottle, best before 08-2011, drank and reviewed 11th June 2011. This bottle cost 1 Euro, from a small shop on the Amalfi Coast, brought home to review. Poured into a couple of Veltin Pilsner stemmed tulips: regular mid-pils/lager colour, golden yellow, clear, bright and clean. The white head left as soon as it arrived, pity. The smell was almost nonexistent, so my normal score of 3 for a non-smelling pils/lager. The taste and mouthfeel were poor, this is obviously a cheap supermarket beer and it shows as soon as you put it to your lips. As the beer warmed a little it became metallic in it’s flavour, even the wife noticed!

0.66 bottle in offer at 0.69€, brewed at Rome plant. Pale Golden yellow with unexpectedly lacing soapy white head. Nose has something "wet". Bready malts with straw, corn, some syrup and light grassy hop. On the bad side a bit of soap and cardboard. Mild bitterness. Average carbonation, not so pleasing on palate, watery texture, dryish and a bit harsh. Below average, not terrible (2.3). --- Same from Padua plant. No head persistence at all, similar aroma, dull and more harshness. Bad, seriously avoid this if not from Rome plant (1.6).

Bottled. Clear yellow color, short head. Skunky hop aroma, bland taste. It’s cheap, but that says it all.
