Bright clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and crisp. Sweetish malts, a trace of something a little cereal like, nothing serious. Little floralness. Modest lemon tang. Dry crisp finish. Not as bad as people make out.

Bottle from Tesco, Prestwich. Not really like lager at all, in fact it has a very palatable, slightly smooth ale texture. Golden-amber in colour and next to no head. Its nose represents its closest characteristic to its stated style.

Bottle. It’s a clear one, golden in color and with a small, white head. The aroma is quite weak, mostly on the fruity side, and there’s also some malty notes in the back. Some bitterness in the flavor, it’s quite fruity, with some pale malts in the back. Canned peaches and some syrup too. Long fruity finish. Rather boring this one, but sort of refreshing and quenching, even though it’s a tad sweet. 150711

Bottle. B&M. Because Sainsbongos didn’t have any big bottles of Punk on the shelves. Can’t get on with this. It’s a bit syrupy sweet. There is some crispness, but it’s overwhelmed, really. Nah.
