Big thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks interesting, strange format. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, more and more dry, hoppy-bitter background. Modest yeasty. Finish dry-malty, hints of lemon. Could be a bit more balanced. Still okay.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has light notes of malt and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and citrus, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bøgelverschlåßflasche (thanks to Quack-Duck): Hazy, pale golden with a green shine, persistent small layer, cardboard, grassy hops and pale malt in the nose, a tinge of vanilla is detectable too; moderate to solid bitter-sweet, a bit dryish, quite light bodied and fizzy; strawy, cardboardy traces in the bitter-pale malty finish. Not well rounded, not very harmonic, a bit harsh and tart..........

(swing top bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck, 5.1%, special label: Civitate Stoka [= for/to the township of Stockach], 1250 Jahre Stadt Stockach 1283-2008) Hazy, yellow colour with a big foamy white head. Discreet aroma: slightly grassy and herbal hoppy nose, also yeasty with a light malty background and a light skunky, plastic-like touch. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly yeasty, herbal and grassy hoppy taste on a light malty base; dry and moderately bitter, hops accented, slightly yeasty finish.
