Nice smooth fresh yeasty beginning. Easy to drink with a nice yeasty back. Easy to drink, very nice with lots of refreshing mild yeast. Spicy with not too much banana. Very nice and easy to drink.

Donated by Erzengel, many thanks. Orange golden color with medium white head. Wheat, banana, clove in aroma. Taste, wheat, banana, clove. Nice one.

Bottle at a tasting. Med-full body, high carbonation. Lots of citruses, orange, lemony, also banana, clove. Tasty, full flavour, classic in style. Very good.

Aus der Flasche im 2018-04 getrunken. Das leicht trübe, goldgelbe Weizen startet in der Nase mit einer deutlichen Hefenote. Nur unschön das diese Hefenote leicht nach Kaugummi und etwas säuerlich riecht. Am Gaumen ist davon zum Glück nichts zu spüren. Hier ist auch die Hefe recht präsent nur das die ganz leichte Säure citrusartig ist. Der Körper ist bei diesen Weizen dann auch noch dünn. So kann nicht irgendein positiven Punkt bei mir machen. Nein das Weizen brauch ich nicht. Danke an Erzengel für dieses Bier.

0,33 l bottle. And again from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Murky orange golden in the glass with a big white foamy head. Dry yeasty smell, some banana und orange. Taste is more dry fruity, yeast wheat, some orange, clove, less banana. Increasing caramell in the second part. Getting thinner to the end.

Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts mild, malty, yeasty, not too dry. Mild fruity notes of apricot, some banana. Modest sweet. Mild finish. Okay.

Draught@Stiefel Brau, Saarbrücken. Hazy yellowish orange colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is acidic wheat and mildly wooden notes along with some toffee, wheat and yeasty notes. Flavour is toffee, wheat, some yeast and mild citrusy notes. Wellbalanced in the flavour.

Draught (4.8%) @ Stiefel Bräu, Saarbrücken. Aroma has floury tones and some banana esthers. Feels a bit musty. Flavour has flory notes, banana, mild citrus notes and hints of grassy hops in the finish. A bit straightforward.

Tap @ Zum Stiefel as Stiefel Weizen 4.8 % ABV. How is this the same beer with the ABV being so different? Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty and yeasty. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 210714
