Bottle from the parents. Sweet - like toffee, Funnily enough. Although without the burnt edge I'd expect from the actual pus. Dark treacle brown. Think frothy off-white head. Initial sweetness before bitterness kicks in. Has the burnt toffee edge I was expecting in the aroma. Light bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long astringent finish. Perfectly drinkable but basic and tastes like additives as opposed to the real thing.

33cl bottle. Pours clear dark amber with a light beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, toffee, caramel. Taste follows nose. Cloying. Maybe some butterscotch. Artificial flavoring? Not very good.

F: huge, bit tanned, good retention. C: very dark coppery with red tones against the light, clear. A: a lot of toffee, nutty, bit chocolate ice cream, caramel. T: malty, caramel, toffee, nutty, ice cream, pudding tones, bit red fruits, dry on the palate, not very sweet, controversial but very different idea, medium body and carbonation, not bad, 50cl bottle from Carrefour hypermarket in Hazebrouck, France.

Bottle from Asda. Mahogany in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Sweet toffee and red berry fruit aroma, with a touch of leafy hop. Flavour was also sweet, with some fudge upfront, fruit cake malts with a hint of staleness and a slightly boozy finish. An ok novelty, that I wouldn’t rush to drink again.

Deep bronze to brown colour. Misty. Moderate capuccino head. Strong toffee and chocolate aroma. Feels hardly natural. Medium body. Lots of malts on taste. Toffee, caramel. Light bitterness. I’m not fond of it.
