With its aromas of ripe fruit such as grapefruit, melon, pineapple and mango, the naturally cloudy India Pale Ale reminds us of a sunny summer day on the west coast of Ireland. It has a pleasantly pronounced recipe and a balanced full body with hints of biscuit and caramel.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, amber with a lacing, off-white head. Fairly old school American IPA aroma, quite biscuity. Medium body, fruity, biscuity, light caramel sweetness and then a brutally potent bitterness. Five American hops used, yet listed as an English IPA. Well…. 180723

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts mild, malty, grainy notes. Hoppy-bitter background, not too intense. Finish could be a bit more balanced. Okay.

Bottle. Almost clear dark amber with a beautiful big white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, grass, resin and honey. Taste of malts, caramel, grapefruits, honey, resin, grass and pine. Strong herbal bitterness. Low to medium carbonation. Nice mouthfeel. This is right up my alley.

330 ml bottle. Unclear amber with a creamy head. Strawberry, orange marmalade, caramel, resin, pine, lemon peel. Hoppy bitterness, malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry bittersweet finish. Nice!

Bottle picked up at REWE, Zolling and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Sunday 23rd February 2020 listening to Tom Robinson 6Music and cooking Turkey Wellington with Potato Gratin, Cauliflower Cheese and Garden Peas. Pours hazy amber with a white head. On first reflection ok, however no showstopper, hoppiness for sure, light fruity, some bitterness. It's ok.
