12oz can on 7th Aug 2019; GBBF. Rye? I got that distinct Rye aroma and taste in this sweet Dubbel. Red hue to the brown body, cream coloured head. Along with the Rye esters and flavours there was a molasses feel to both the nose and sweetness within the brew. Some fruity elements too.

Boks innkjøpt på GBBF, delt med Steven aug-19:nesten helt klar rødlig mahogny med ok skum. Myke karameller, eik/vanilje, lær, røde bær og lys konfekt. Tilbaketrukket bitterhet.

330ml can from the Great Beer Bar, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a murky medium brown with a fizzy, short-lived, off white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, light red berry fruits, earthy mineral. The flavour is moderate sweet with a light, crisp, fruity, light boozy, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a frothy mouthfeel.

[12oz can from Total Wines, Naples, Fl.] A dark chestnut pour with a thin beige head; sugary malt aroma; rather aromatic taste with lots of sugar in the background and a thinnish body; then some obvious alcohol in the finish. Not unpleasant.

Average dubbel without faults but also nothing that stands out like basketball players on the subway. Brown pour withbok head. Florals, leather, tobacco. Some tannic astringence in finish and a little sweetness, caramel. Can.
