Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy golden, mid sized head. Fairly sweet with above medium body and soft gentle mouthfeel. Floral with some caramel, mild and soothing with good depth in the malt character. Slight bitterness. Thoroughly pleasant.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm, 4 Oct 2011) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fresh nose with grain, bread, grass and hints of citrus. Malty, fresh taste with grainy malt, cereal, bread and a gentle grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. The initial aromas are very fresh and grassy, while it lacks some depth and length when it comes to taste. Still quite a nice and refreshing beer.

Bottle looks really good. No label, only a small paper at the neck. Bottle nr. 001401. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Malty-sweet aroma. Starts strong, not too much, fine spicy notes, a bit wheaty. Sweet background that reminds me of honey. Also shows some fruity notes. Finish milder, soft, quite drinkable. Could be a bit more intense. Good, but with 15 euro a bottle too expensive.

Bottle @ Ulfborg Easter Tasting, 2011. Handbottle # 58. Pours cloudy yellow with a small creamy white head. Doughy bread and crust. Hay and grassy flavor. Smooth. A bit more hops would have made it world class. Ends fairly dry.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Bottle # 58. Pours a hazy golden with tiny impurities and a lacing white head. Sweet malty nose with some great perfumy aroma hops. Medium body, sweet rich malts and again great aroma hops. The finish is dryish from the balancing hops. Comes in a wonderful champagne bottle, but still it’s basically just a fancy Märzen. 160411
