0.33 l bottle from 'denn's', best before June 2022. Almost clear but with quite some floaties, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity-floral, a little grassy aroma of lemon peel, grains and light grass. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently fruity-floral taste of grains, lemon peel, pineapple and light dough, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little grassy finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Lager.

Flasche bei BioCompany. Trübes Orange, viel Schaum, der schnell verschwindet. Aroma: Orange, Mango, Maracuja, Milchsäure, Sahnebonbon. Geschmack: wenig bis moderat süß, etwas Heu im Gaumen, leicht fruchtig (Apfelsine, Pfirsich, ein wenig Grapefruit). Nicht bitter. Angenehm.

Slightly hazy pale blonde with a good head. Nose is grassy and somehow chalky with a minimal hint of fruit: apple, pear. Body is thin, with an initial hit of hops fading away to thin / water. Not a fan.

Bottle from Heinrichs 3000. pale yellow, tall white head. Hoppy nose. Malty base, light and elegant, with nice somatic hops that add intensive fruity flavours.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy and slightly fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of fresh hay, some pear, green apple, a touch of basil. Taste is slightly dry, grassy and slightly fruity hoppy, minimally spicy pale malty, hints of fresh hay, some pear, gooseberry, green apple, almost no residual sweetness. Watery texture, indifferent palate, slightly coarse, prickly carbonation. Highly drinkable, refreshing - nice.

Gefunden in einem Bio-Markt in Mödling, als ich auf den Zug nach Břeclav wartete. Ich mag gerne Biere mit Geschichte; oder halt Gschichtl. Darum hier ein Text vom Etikett: Unser Ur-Helles bleibt unser Ur-Helles... - hat mein Vater gsagt. Und dass das seit 27 Jahren sein Rezept ist, hat er gsagt. Und dann haben wir sein Ur-Helles trotzdem mal mit Calistahopfen g'stopft und ihn probieren lassen. Und dann hat er gsagt, dass neues ja schon immer Tradition hat im Riedenburger Brauhaus. Mehr hat er nicht gsagt. Es ist wirklich ein tolles Bier. Untergärig und doch wie ein Pale Ale. Es ist fein süffig und hat leichte Hopfen-Bitternoten, die einige Erforschung garantieren. Hat mir wirklich gut geschmeckt.
