Juicy citrus with some light dank notes. Cloudy orange with a decent white head. Sticky sweet citru and a dry light pithy peel finish.

NE style of less allure to me than a West Coast IPA but I spotted a single 12 oz can of Fresh Haze and it is Deschutes. Letβs give it a shot. The pour is made into a snifter and I see, no surprise, a cloudy, light orange liquid. The had is a firm white that promptly slims down. Quite fragrant, it gives orange peel and light pine. And actually the taste is better than anticipated, I find orange-tilted citrus, cedar, grass, hops of course along with a moderate bitterness. Less fruity, heavier on the IPA, both positives to me.

(Can) Pours hazy amber with a big thick white head. Lovely aroma of orange, other citrus, peach. Medium body with excellent carbonation - soft, bright and plentiful. Great tasting too - plenty of fruity tang at start with some pleasant balancing sweetness. The fruitiness has orange and peach. A pleasant hoppy bitterness develops and lingers in the finish. Definitely an IPA, but not over the top. Very drinkable.

Not a bad example of a hazy but lacks the character the greater ones have.

Giant can from Whole Foods in Irvine. Sort of dull hazy orange pour with white foamy head. Aroma is a bit muddied - orange creamsicle, biscuit. Taste is zesty citrus zest, sweet and crisp biscuit malt. A bit metallic. Smooth palate - rich but fizzy. Tasty but wouldnβt get again.

From a monster 568ml can on 24/3/2019. Pours a murky deep golden with medium to big head. Has a dank citrus nose. The flavour is dominated by orange and orange peel, with a pretty firm grapefruit bitterness. Has some bready malt and spice in there as well. Has almost a slick texture and moderate carbonation. A truly excellent citrussy NEIPA.

Taster at the Coaltrain IPA Madness tasting. The aroma is pine, caramel, cloves, and some bread dough. Sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Light and crisp. Pretty nice.
