Bottle sample at a tasting at Dror S.’s place. Thanks Dror S. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of DMS, corny and grainy, with faint herbal hints. Tastes like a Pale Lager, grainy and a bit sweetish with a pretty bitter finish, slightly herbal with a spicy hint. Light-bodied.

Bottle. A clear, pale golden, almost yellow, beer topped by a white head of moderate size. Rather grassy, lightly piney and quite herbal nose with some hayish maltynes. Less on the herbal side in the flavor, although still that’s the dominant compound. Thin on the palate, with a decent carbonation level. Pleasant bitterness towards the end. Certainly not my favorite beer in any way, interesting though, and it has some resemblence to a classic German pilsner, but I’d rather have the real thing. The beer that is. 130711

Saw some 33cl bottles of this lurking in the fridge of a Giros joint in Mykonos Town while on holiday (early May 2013): had to try it. Murky, cloudy lagerish yellow colour, what head arrived soon left the area. The taste and aroma were a bit strange: not sure what flavour ’hemp’ actually has, anyway this beer definately had something different about it, Guava? I can’t say I really enjoyed my bottle, but I do things like this sometimes just to annoy the wife (hunt down new beers, then pay over the odds and don’t like them).

bottle, merci jaghana! Clear pale yellow, large white head. Grassy hoppy flavours in the nose and in the flavour, shy malty background. Nothing much special.

Hazy light blond color. The aroma is unexpected, there is a quite good beer base, with some malt, and a pleasant black pepper touch, and nettles. The mouthfeel is weak and dry; there is not much beer flavor, just a light, grassy touch, some peppery note, and almost missing bitterness. Poor.
