This is a darkly delicious milk stout, with a thick creamy head. Packed with coffee, chocolate and vanilla notes and a creaminess in the body that is typical of the style. Delicate hop bitterness balances the finish leaving you ready for the next sup!

Can from Beer52. Pours black with moderate sized beige head; looks good. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, light roastiness, a hint of berries, some sweetness; nice. Taste of coffee and roast, some dark chocolate, a touch of lactose sweetness gives a nice balance. Not picking up much fruitiness which would have rounded it off nicely. Nonetheless its a nice stout.

Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a large, frothy, but transient tan head and low carbonation. There’s lactose and oats in the aroma, and they are the mainstays to start off with in the mouth, with a general creamy texture. After a while though, roasted malts begin to assert themselves plus hints of coffee and milk chocolate. Some slight fruitiness in the finish. Pretty decent overall.

Very nice stout, not dry or sweet, smooth clean and very drinkable! Not Danish but classic and Guinness like.bootleggerd sams

Can from Beer52. Black with mahogany hints and a beige head. Milky coffee, chocolate, roasted coffee beans and a tiny waft of blackcurrant. The creaminess is lost slightly in the mouthfeel due to a rather too prickly fizz. The roastiness is not overdone and is balanced well with the sweetness. However, overall it feels a tad underwhelming; the flavours are not as pronounced as in some examples of the style. Nevertheless it's a pleasant, easy drinking stout.
