Bursting with tropical dankness, this beer is everything you want from a San Diego-style IPA. It’s bright, bursting with hop fruitiness, and refreshingly dry. Crack one open and get ready to feel those weekend vibes.

Can from GBBF 2019 and drunk at home. Clear deep gold colour lasting white head. Light dankness on aroma and in the mouth. But it doesn't have the NEIPA thick mouthfeel. In fact the lightness in the mouth is pretty good. Light malt but enough to be there. Good bitterness on finish. Light tropical fruit. A bit too fizzy. Some citrus fruit as well. I quite liked it. Good fresh hoppy flavour. Decent.

GBBF Day 2. Can. Almost clear gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, slightly sharp fine carbonation. Light malts. Thin creamy sweetness. Hops bring pine and mild hop spice. Soft orangey citrus. Some peel and marmalade. Hmm. Okay. Mosaic anonymous, but nothing unusual there. The Simcoe and Citra are decent but lack a little brightness. Hop spice linger.

On tap at Coronado, pours a clear yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of pot oils, with a weedy hop character. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of pot oil, weedy hops, and biscuity malt. Way too much pot oil here. Not pleasant.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours bright gold with a white head. Fruity, somewhat stone fruit juicy, aroma. Med body or better. Flavor has a fruity hop tang- not exactly dankness, but something like excessive citrus while retaining a lot of pale stone fruit. Dryish. Hoppy. Bitter. Oh, and discernible pale malt. But who cares about that? Hop avoiders!!!!!!!!!! Call out the militia!

Pint can pours with a crystal clear pure gold body that supports a thin near white head of foam. The aroma offers up tangerine, apricot, pear and a bit of honeydew. The taste delivers a blend of bitter grapefruit and citrus peel as well as some thin soft notes of honeydew and pears. This drinks pretty smooth.
