Strong and well hopped for the voyage sending IPA from the Wolds to the World. Interestingly brewed with a pale Wold grown malt base, a triple hop blend and Maize for the head retention.

Bottle split at CC2, 05/03/16, big thanks to Mr Pink. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is pale malts, straw, light bread, orange. Taste comprises grain, orange peel, lemon rind, bready notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bittering close. Not my idea of an IPA !!! Extremely whelming for the style.

Bottle at CWC II; surprised I’d never had this before, crystal clear light golden pour with a thin white head, aroma has citrus action along with a hint of grain, taste has sweet bread, citrus and some sweet malts, a hint of grapefruit.

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention - 2016 edition. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. The nose holds bread, hay and light citrus. Medium sweet flavour with some sugary pale bread, low bitterness, mellow citrus, white bread. Medium bodied and finely carbonated. Finishes with more sugary, bready pale malts, hints of ripe citrus, straw. Drinkable stuff.

Clear golden colour. Floral aroma. Quite a herbal taste. There’s almost some funky Brett yeast in there too. Complex.
