For years, rumors have circled that deep in the woods on Mount St. Helens lives the fabled Batsquatch. While there are many tales of Batsquatch, they are all a bit hazy on the details, which makes the truth such a juicy mystery. So what better way to honor the elusive legend than with a hazy IPA? Perfect for camping and potentially making a new friend. This juicy, cloudy IPA features intense tropical flavors and aromas.

Can. This beer takes the haze seriously, pouring a murky, dirty orange-brown, topped by a thick cream head. Pungent nose of mostly fermented tropical fruit (especially papaya). Creamy, soft body, also characterized primarily by papaya (and maybe tangerine) with light onion-like bitterness. Very good.

Super hazy orange and copper coloured body with a deep, rich thick two to three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, deep citrusey, piney and herbal hops with a lot of bitterness throughout, but also some dry notes from the biscuity malt. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very resinous hops that show a lot of bitterness, but also supported nicely by good grain and biscuity malt, with some light sweetness from apricots and peaches and finishing off a touch dry and slightly bready from the malts. Aftertaste shows the grainy finish, but also a touch of the fruity sweetness, and of course the dominate flavour is definitely the hops and bitterness from resin, pine and flowers. Overall, a very nice and slightly unexpected beer that shows all the aspects you'd want from a New England IPA, but also a good balance, smooth fruits and a dash of dryness on the end - nice, throughout and worth trying to find if you like the style! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Towson, Maryland on 27-May-2019 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 30-June-2019.

Canned May 13th 2019.

It pours a murky light orange, dark yellow, has a firm and long lasting head of foam.

The smell has loads of tropical fruit, orange zest, pine, healthy amount of dankness.

The taste has a dank bitterness, piney notes, tropical fruit...mango and pineapple, more pine, hoppy and bitter.

Good juicy mouthfeel.

I like this one quite a bit.

Murky dark golden colour. Dense, rocky off white head. Aroma's: weird, sourish, buttery. Retronasal: lactose, fruity, light buttery. Flavour is moderate sweet, with sweet fruit. Medium bodied. Long finish. Weird NEIPA, more like a milkshape IPA.
