Can from Cobbett's, Dorking. Aroma is pretty low key, floral and honey. Opaque gold. Thick foamy white head. Medium bitter. Underlying sourness. Piney. Spice. A touch of citrus. Gains quinine. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry.astringent finish. Decent APA.

Bottle form the brewery online shop. Pour clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas resin, tropical fruit. Taste has a chewy resinousness, more fruit. Light bitter finish.

500ml bottle from the brewery. BBE 05/21. Poured a clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, buttery yeast, light citrus, boiled sweets, floral hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, crisp, malt, juicy citrus, light dry pepper spice, floral hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Cask at the brewery tap. Pours amber with minimal head. Aroma of hops, flowers, light tropical and citrus fruits, caramel and grass. Light sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. First of the brewers 'progressive' ales. Decent effort.
