SCHWIND Bräu Rotgold zeichnet sich durch kräftige Malzaromen aus. Deutlich würzige Töne steigen in die Nase, der malzbetonte Körper dieses Bieres ist kraftvoll, rund und vollmundig, unterlegt mit feiner Hopfennote. Die tiefgründig schimmernde Farbe des Bieres erinnert an edles Rotgold.

Schwind Rotgold, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Schön rotgold (was auch sonst?), schwach trüb. - In der Nase sattes, süßes Toastmalz, milde bonbonsüße Frucht (Johannisbeere), süßes Orangeat und milde herbale Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk füllig bonbonsüß-toastmalzig mit Karamelbonbon, deutlicher Malzbittere und nicht zu knapper orangenfruchtiger Hopfenherbe, die der schweren Süße Paroli bieten. Milder rezent, vollmundig, ölig schwer. Im Abgang gut krautig hopfig, schwach ranzig. - Satt malzschweres, durch kräftige wenngleich etwas derbe Hopfung aufgepepptes Rotbier, das vom Malzkörper her schon den Charakter eines Festbieres hat. Im Glas sieht es richtig toll aus - wie der Name verspricht schön rotgold-orange. Der Geruch ist hopfig-frisch. Im Antrunk ist es frisch-hopfig. Zum Hauptteil kommt eine leichte Herbe mit süßlichen Malzaromen hinzu, die sich auch im Nachgeschmack lange auf der Zunge halten. Die Herbe bleibt im Hintergrund, ist aber deutlich spürbar. Insgesamt ist das Bier aber wenig charakterstark - leicht malzig-herb-süßlich, aber nichts Außergewöhnliches - trotzdem probierenswert!

Bottle @ Ambrosetti, Berlin. Pours clear dark golden with white head. Grain, dishwasher and bread. Medium bodied. Spicy hoppy finish.

Bottle: Golden to deep golden, slightly lacing white foamy layer; moderate malty nose with a toasted, nutty tinge; light to medium bodied; sweet-malty finish with a bitter tinge. Unspectacular, but pleasant.........

bottle, thank you MoritzF! Clear amber-golden colour, medium-sized head. Medium-bodied, malty with hints of bread and grains, hints of caramel and roasetd malts. Very mild beer.

(bottle) Clear, golden to amber colour with a short foamy white head. Moderately sweet cara-malty nose, slightly nutty with a tinge of metal. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Soft cara-malty taste with herbal spice; dry and slightly bitter and nutty finish with light herbal hoppy notes. Unspectacular and mild brew (01.05.08).
