A dark amber beer with a full malty palate. Slightly burnt, bitter aftertaste, and a superbly smoky flavour. A staple of Lewes Bonfire Night festivities.

Originally brewed to commemorate the gallant work of the Fire Brigade during the fire at the brewery in July 1996 and was originally called ‘Firecracker’.

50cl bottle picked up in Hastings. Copper coloured with a thin off-white head; rich nutty malt aroma; treace toffee flavour with a touch of spice; and a sweet but satisfying finish.
