The result of ongoing flirtations between an aggressively fierce serving of kiwi hops and a solid distinguished malt character is this love child. So’phisticuffs. As the names suggests she is beautiful, bold balanced and banging, bringing together the quintessential elements of a funkalicious IPA.
Give her a go, she’s a badass lass with a lot of class.

330ml can. Opalescent, orangey golden colour with average to huge, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy and tropical fruity, slightly piney, hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple, a touch of lime, grapefruit, some gooseberry, biscuity, pale malty background. Taste is crisp, bitter and fruity, slightly citrusy and piney hoppy, slightly diluted hints of lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, pale and minimally caramel malty basis; slightly mineral, chalky finish. Watery texture, dry palate, prickly carbonation. Nice but overall average IPA due to two slight shortcomings: too watery, too chalky.

Can from Hogs Back Brewery. Grassy aroma. Hazy light gold. Thick shaving foam head. Medium bitter which gains in strength and harshness. Some soap in the finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Low key fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Not great. Best described as unrefined.

330ml can at Craft Room Sathorn, Bangkok. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, citrus fruity, piney hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a crisp, toffee malt, light fruit, big dry woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice but i’d prefer more fruit and less bitterness. The long bitter finish lasted forever and it wasn’t the best. I could still taste this beer long after I finished drinking it.
