Tap madmex. Why is everything have to be IPA these days? i guess its the preppie beer thang to be; an IPA lover. Clear pale. Sparkling. A little fruit on a mild ipa perfume for the nose. No co2 effects on the palate. Not mouth coating and a little thinner than a typical IPA. Yes almost watery in its presentation but it certainly has some of that ipa flavor impact. IPA builds and overall, not sure if I detect any mango in there.

Can from Stone in Asagaya. Drank straight from the can. Mango creamcicle nose with some baked cookie malts and maybe a touch of vanilla. More cookie on the palate with more mango. Some bitter hop bite on the finish. Amazing body for the abv. Fun take on Even Keel. Can from Brewers Haven. Pours out a nice rich, golden color with fluffy head. Oranges come to mind at first sniff, while the mango comes in at the taste and sticks around for a while. Fruit rules throughout, only hop presence is a bit of dryness at the end.

12 can into pint glass, canned on 2/8/2016. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy orange/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big juicy mango, melon, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops, mango, and light-moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy mango, melon, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, tangerine, lemon, zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of mango, melon, grapefruit, pineapple, papaya, tangerine, lemon, zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops, mango, and light-moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, that stays fairly balanced through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky/resinous, and fairly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 3.8%. Overall this is a damn nice fruited session IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops, mango, and light-moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth, flavorful, and easy to drink. In comparison to the base beer, this felt a bit sweeter and fuller bodied overall; which gave it a less drying/bitter finish. A very enjoyable offering.

Draft sample at Dominion Wine & Beer. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of big mango, light floral notes, some citrus. Tastes of mango, light citrus and floral notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Mango makes for a nice improvement over the average base beer.

On tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a clear orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma is full of sweet mango with a bit of sweet grain and flora supporting. Flavor has a bit of grass up front but is mainly full of sweet mango with a touch flora.

Can from Bert’s Brilliantly clear deep golden color with a decent sized frothy white head. Huge juicy mango on the nose with hints of bready and citrus deep underneath. The flavor is quite the mango bomb really. Lingering grassy earthy bitterness especially in the finish. The flavors in this beer do not mesh very well together.

12 ounce can from ABV. Pours a clear orange color with a small white head. This is Beehive territory here! A big fruity nose. Big sweet perfumy hops, mango is clear, sugary. I get a sweet sugary flavor which makes this taste artificial even though I doubt it is. I guess the base just shows a lot of sweet fruit. Not bad.
