Lys brun med hvitt skum. klar. Lukter sydhavsfrukter og vått korn. Smaker hvete og noe pasjonsfrukt. Mild og søt. Tynn.

Keg at brewpub in Hanoi. Passion fruit seed aroma which is fresh and sweet. Watery and light look and feel to it with a pleasing passionfruit taste.

Hazy, deep golden and peach (perfectly passionfruit flesh) coloured body without any head at all. Aroma of bright passionfruit with a ton of tart qualities, a dash of light yeast, some flowers and jasmine/herbal notes with a lot more of the tart, mouth puckering (even before drinking) qualities that you get from the fruit. Light-bodied; Strong passionfruit flavour at first with a good bit of wheat and yeast behind, showing some breadiness, but more of a clean, slightly fruity and quite tart passionfruit flavour. Aftertaste shows the light dry and wheat notes with a hint of yeast and flowers, but really showing only the tart passionfruit notes, in a great way. Overall, this is a great beer and of course, perfect for the daily temperature in Viet Nam with enough complexity to be considered great here state-side, but over there is in a class of it's own (with Heart of Darkness). I sampled this 33 cL can, purchased from the Greenville Beer Exchange in Greenville, South Carolina on 31-May-2018 for US$3,24 sampled at home in Washington on 21-June-2020, Father's Day 2020, after spending a great day with my three kids. Despite having this same beer in many occasions with my three kids at the Brewery (Dong Pasteur) itself, on the [hot] streets of Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City last summer and in my cooler hotel room overlooking the city, this is the first time I wanted to sample the beer, while back stateside.

12 oz can from Brewers Haven. Pale, cloudy straw color, fine fizzy head. Nose is all passionfruit, sweet and tropical. Taste brings a little tartness, more passionfruit with some underlying bready notes. Damn refreshing on a warm day.

Cloudy dirty gold pour with a decent head that dissipates. Nose is passionfruit and wheat as name suggests. Tastes fruity if guava, passionfruit, wheat, lemon, florals. Lighter bodied. Finishes fruity. Nita bad effort.

Can: Clear, light yellow-gold with barely ny head. Nice, soft passionfruit aroma. Taste is light....passionfruit, grain malt, a little straw bitter. Nicely crisp carbonation. Pretty tasty.
