Bottle from Taniguchi. Sweet, carmelly, heavy nose, grainy, a bit oxidized, almost no hops. Dark golden orange, clear, with lace. Sweet and thick, peaches, orange, biscuits. Not bad tasting, just tastes old and heavy. Full. Not at all fresh. Not terrible, but thick and too sweet.

(Bottle) Pours clear golden with tiny white head. Fair aroma - grassy, with grainy malt. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Taste is reasonable balance of sweet malt with some bitterness. More flavour than many pilsners, although some of the stronger notes don’t seem to fit together. Reasonable, not exceptional.

Can with 4.0% ABV. Pours clear deep golden with moderate white frothy head. Maty aroma. Grains, corn, hay. Light body. Thin to oily. Clean malty taste. Grainy. Bready. The hops get obvious only in aftertaste. Mediocre.

Bottle from a shop in Budapest. Pours gold with an orange tint, and a small white head. Aroma of malt, hop and light fruit. Medium sweet with a slight bitter edge. Light body, sweet sticky texture. Average carbonation. Finish has a bit more bitterness coming through. Nothing special but ok.

Bottle from Lidl, Sowerby Bridge. Golden with an extremely thin head. A decent pilsner with stated ingredients in this respect, albeit a little dry tasting despite being a very palatable beer.
