Bottled 500ml. -from some bar in Brežice. Pale golden coloured, small white head, mild grainy nose. Malty, grainy and watery with touch of herbal hops in the finish. Pretty boring beer.

(Can, 0.5 l - BB 25.09.15, 20141212) The beer poured golde and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, grass, butter, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A too sweet brew.

Ogi got this at that big hostel’s bar in Brežice, near the fest. Was supposed to be available at the fest, but wasn’t. Yay. Anyway, the label was mostly in Hebrew (?!), with further writing in Serbian, Croatian and Slovenian. You don’t see that often. The beer itself was golden, with a small-medium head. Doughy/grainy aroma, slightly sourish, with some herbal hoppy notes. Typical fare. The taste initially gave off some more of that grainy + herbal hop vibe, establishing it firmly as a run of the mill but flawless pils, but it’s just too watery in the end. Shame. You can do much worse than this, you can do much better than this.

dark golden colour, some not too stable white head; aroma of grain, some grass and sourness; taste is the same; drinkable, but it would be hard to say any positive about it

[6/14] Bottle. Gold with a white head that fades. Low bead. Aroma is grainy with lemon and herbs. Carbonation is fairly low. Light bodied. Sweet hayish and grainy malts, just a little buttery (inoffensively so). Herbs. Dryish finish with firm bitterness. OK, just lacks a little life. [2.8 / 5.5]
[2/25] A little better in cans. Certainly acceptable for the price.

Pours a completely clear, golden color and is topped with an average white frothy head that soon disappears almost completely. The aroma is gentle, although its malty and slightly grainy aroma is still easy to point out. The taste is exactly what you expect. Sweet start, balanced body and slightly bittery finish. Also slight metal kick in the aftertaste. A very nice beer that’s easy to drink, but you would expect a bit more form the Czech. Maybe.
