Ok, hagámoslo funky. Color amarillo paja, espuma blanca de media retención. Aroma suave a heno, levadura Brettanomyces, lúpulo fresco, frutas cítricas, puntito de cuero, lagar, establo... definitivamente un aroma que se echa de menos que sea un poco más potente, pues el perfil es agradable. En boca misma línea, puntito dulce, frutal (uva, manzana), moderadamente amarga, de muy fácil beber, rica y disfrutable. Que lástima que no tenga ese pequeño "punch" más agrio que la encumbraría bastante. Deja un buen recuerdo en boca. Buena

330ml bottle [courtesy of Claudius - thanks again!]. Opalescent, orange golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mildly funky, bretty and slightly fruity hoppy aroma, pale and slightly caramel malty background, hints of white peach, a touch of lime. Taste is surprisingly sweet, pale malty, citrusy fruity hoppy and very mildly bretty, yeasty funky, hints of orange, lemon, some apricot, white peach. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, still efficacious carbonation. Surprisingly high residual sweetness (considering the brett), but in no way too sweet, nicely hopped and only mildly funky; nothing trying, no challenge, just an IPA with real Belgian touch - nice.

Bottle 330ml @ Home. Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, brett, funk and yeast. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with a long brett, yeasty and citrus fruity finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft

Cette Funky Brett pourra présenter l'intérêt d'être une première approche du Brett à ceux qui ne le connaissent pas car celui-ci n'est pas trop présent donnant une petite touche funky tout en restant très sobre. Le visuel est sur un blond limpide avec une fine effervescence soutenue et une mousse blanche de 5 mm. Le nez donne la dominante Bret, citron et pomme. En bouche, le Brett n'est pas trop violent avec une bière relativement douce (sans être trop sucrée). L'intensité est honorable avec une pointe d'acidité donnant un peu de pep's. Les arômes sont toutefois simples. L'alcool, à 6,6 % est bien dosé quant à lui. Petit bémol sur le final un peu plus acide et agressif. Pas très emballant.

33cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of nice brett, mild sourish yellow fruits, yeast. Taste of bretty yeast, mild tart white grapes, pale malt, yeast, some herbs. Moderate carbonation.

Geel bier met stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is bitter hoppig met de typische brett smaak overduidelijk aanwezig. Altijd even wennen maar na een korte gewenning komt een degelijk bier naar boven met iets van citrus.

Thanks Zec! Shared at Ambasada with him and Hrabren before running for the bus to Split. Hazy golden body, white head. Brett dominates the aroma immediately, funky, herbal, hay. Herbal, funky, bertty taste, nice and smooth body, ending bitter. You can see this is young, but I find it quite likable!
