Cask at the Foot of the Walk. Pours copper brown, toffee malts, light bitterness.

Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 30 October. Poured a clear copper colour with a tight white head and good lacing. Aroma of spicy hops, lemongrass and vegetables. Floral hop flavours with bitter copper and straw. Finish was hop resin, grass with some malt and mild astringency.

Cask at the Railway (JDW), Putney. Reddish copper with a thcik cream head; citrus aroma; fruity taste with some grapefruit and pleasantly bitter; with a dry, biscuity, finish. A pleasant pint.

Cask at the Willow Walk, 24/10/13. Clear copper with a moderately sized off white head that retains well. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee, fruits, earthy. Taste comprises biscuit malts, orchard fruit, toffee, earthy tones. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry closure with a little bitterness. Adequate bitter.

Cask @ Barum Top, Halifax. Amber red with a small bubbly head. It’s very crisp and clean with a small bitterness and a small spiciness in the palate. Not high on flavours but has a malt base. Slight floral aroma.

Clear mahogany colour. Caramel malt aroma. Smooth malty taste. Full flavoured bitter with some sweet red/dried fruits. Not particularly hoppy though.

Cask at the moon under water Watford jdw. Dark orange red clear pour with a nice long lasting off white head. Aroma is sweet hedgerow berries, caramel, light mineral and citrus. Flavour follows, light rye spicy, low metallic finish. Palate is good, medium body and carb. Not enough hop character.

Cask at the Willow Walk, JDW - London. Pours clear, amber-good with a fading white froth. Ripe citrus on the nose with hints of grainy bred. Medium sweet flavor with bready malts, some buttery toffee, mild bitter leaves. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with more toffee, bread, slight leaves, wood and toasted grass. Decent.
