Cask @ The Commercial, Slaithwaite. Pours nearly black with a small creamy head. Sourish nose. Infected and tart. Dark sourish fruit. A shame.

Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. An opaque ruby red colour with a thin beige head; earthy toffee aroma; rather thin with a nutty caramel taste; then some coffee grounds in the finish. A proper old-fashioned mild.
