Cask at the Commercial Inn, Slaithwaite, Nr Huddersfield. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taster are malty chocolate and coffee, slightly sweet sweet. Medium body.

Cask @ The Commercial, Slaithwaite. Pours nearly black with a small creamy head. Sourish nose. Infected and tart. Dark sourish fruit. A shame.

Third, gravicask, shared with Finn at Twickenham Beer and Cider Festival. Almost naked surface, black in the glass, spotty lacing. Earthy malts on the nose. Moderate taste of earthy chocolate malts. Roasted, mid-sweet finish. Okay mild. (24.10.2019).

Cask at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, caramel. Flavours of coffee, liquorice, roasted meats, chocolate. Good stuff.

Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. An opaque ruby red colour with a thin beige head; earthy toffee aroma; rather thin with a nutty caramel taste; then some coffee grounds in the finish. A proper old-fashioned mild.

Cask at the Red House, Stourbridge at 3.8%. Pours ruby brown with a small head. Aroma is caramel and coffee. Taste has caramel to start and coffee in the finish.

Cask at the St. Ives 'Booze on the Ouse' beer festival, 2017. Pours dark brown with a red tint and a bubbly off-white to grey head. Aroma of roasted malt, light chocolate, toffee, nut and dark fruits. Medium plus sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask @ St Ives Boozeon the Ouse festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, fruits, nuts and hops. Sweet fruity finish.

Cask gravity at Kent & East Sussex Railway BF 2016. Very dark brown black beer lasting tan head. Powder chocolate aroma malty. A little dark fruit sourness damson dark plum. Rather good. Touch of ash smoke. Good condition. Ok dark mild.
