Cask at the Pure Bar and Kitchen, Birmingham . Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is nettle hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a lovely smooth woody resin hop spice pepper palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Cask at Euston Tap, London. Pours golden with white lasting head. Hoppy citrus aroma. Caramel malty flavor with nice hoppy bitterness.

On tap at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden to amber with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - grapefruit pith and pine. Taste - lashings of grapefruit and green apple skin nicely supported by sweet malt. Palate - medium bodied with a big creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - good stuff.

Cask @ Old Wellington, Manchester. Golden with a small head. It is crisp with an underlying dry pale ale character. Has some fruitiness.

Cask at Haymarket. Clear pale golden pour, thin white head. Good citrus hop aromas, grapefruit and so on. More good bitterness on the taste too. A little on the thin side if anything, but very nice.

500ml bottle [6.0% abv as per label]. Clear dark golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney hop aroma, some citrus, a touch of passion fruit. Taste is crisp, dry to bitter hoppy, minimally piney, caramel malty basis with a touch of biscuit. Simple but nice.

Cask at GBBF 2013, Olympia, London. A golden/amber coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes is similar, hoppy, citrus fruit, grapefruit. Good stuff.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; bright clear amber pour with medium tight white head, piney hop aroma, pine hop taste very resinous a hint of tangerine and some peppery spice and some bready malts in the background, violent carbonation.
