Our first brew and one that was born out of our quest for uncompromising quality. A wonderfully golden session ale with fresh malt and hop aroma, leading to a satisfying bitter finish. Maris Otter dominates the malt bill, backed by heaps of Cascade and Centennial hops.

Fruity, bready, quaffable

Hand pumped at Malto, Riccione, Italy. Pours a loaded brilliant gold, transparent, with very fine white foam. Aroma is earthy, a little malty. Body is average, with no carbonation. Taste is balanced by a nice earthy bitterness. Final is average.

Old rating - A pint from the cask at the Friends of Ham, Leeds. Pours amber with a white head. Decent pale ale, with a slightly hoppy dry finish.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear golden. Generous citrus aroma. Dryish with light body and crisp mouthfeel. Crisp and sparkling. Spicy and citrusy. Mid bitter finish. Very refreshing. In magic shape.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers! Pours with quite a large white head. Slightly fizzy. Aroma of citrus, herbs, grass and citrus. Quite a lot of carbonation. Slightly bitter and quite bitter. Still drinkable.

[June 2022] Clear pale gold with a creamy white head and a hoppy and slightly lemony aroma. Light bodied with some floral hops, a little bit fruity and some light biscuit malt

Foamy white head on an unclear golden coloured body. Sweet stone fruit aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with a sticky back. Sweet, stone fruit, bubble gum & citrussy tastes. Nice one.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 4, 05/08/22. Pale golden blonde with a white cap. Nose is grassy, pale malts, lemon rind, tangerine. Taste comprises melon, grass, orange zest, light breads. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. Tidy enough cask pale.

30/7/2021. Cask at the Redoubt Beer Festival, Harwich. Pours clear dark gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hops, grass, citrus, malt, straw. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slightly watery, average carbonation.
