Hootie-Hoo. It’s a hazy, bright pale ale hopped with Idaho 7, El Dorado, and Amarillo. That blend of strains creates a potent, but light and fresh, hop aroma. Satisfying, but still real easy to gulp.

Pours a mustard yellow with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma of orange, hop, must. Taste has citrusy hops, grapefruit, and relatively sweet malt. Palate has some resinous viney finish. Good.

Super hazy golden, orange and raw honey coloured body with a very nice two to three centimetre tall tan head that covers the beer nicely. Aroma of grass, toffee, malt, citrus and nuts with the El Dorado and Amarillo really coming through. Medium-bodied; Rich grassy and floral hop flavours show at first with a light citrusey and grapefruit bite, some malt and body with a light sweetness from nuts and caramel, with a light funky yeast and bread taste towards the end. Aftertaste is crisp, deeply hoppy with a strong floral and grassy bite, but showing a proper balance of malt, with a light alcohol finish, but with some soft sugars as well. Overall, a good (not great) East Coast IPA, but not showing the juicy and tropically fruity notes that you'd expect from the New England IPA style, but the Amarillo/El Dorado take away from that (in my opinion) in a bad way. Still good to try, especially fresh. I sampled this twelve ounce, slimline can, purchased from Wegman's in Woodbridge, Virginia on 18-April-2020 for US$1,87 sampled at my house here in Washington on 20-April-2020.

Tap at mad mex. Muddy cloudy NEIPA. Thin foamy head. Big and bitter IPA, terribly on style, one rude ass beer. However, as I near the middle, the bitterness seems to let up a little. Yes it even tends to lean towards a stronger APA. Glad its not full bone IPA. Decent yet still IPA in yer face.

Appearance is cloudy dark yellow with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is citrus light yeast. Taste is citrus, sweet fruit loops and mild herb light yeast. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, an atypical sweetness that is kind of interesting.

16 ounce can. Hazy yellow gold color. Large frothy beige head. Floral tropical fruit aroma. Zesty citrus fruit upfront. Light bready malt bill balances the citrus hops. Slightly tart middle hints at stone fruits. Mild grapefruit notes in finish.
