Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Low key sour chocolate aroma. Opaque cola brown. A few beige bubbles cling to the rim. Initially light bitter before some underlying creamy choc sweetness comes through. Sour berry edge. Medium bodied. Slick verging on creamy. Long dry astringent finish. OK if bland.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 1, 07/08/18. Black with a well presented lasting tan covering. Nose is brown bread, toffee, dried fruits, grains. Taste comprises liqourice, spice, fruit slice, dried frutis, brown bread, nutty, toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent mild.

Cask at GBBF 2018, Olympia, London. A dark brown coloured pour with a small beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate on the nose. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate.

Cask at GBBF. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy, umami, leather, liquorice, spice, tangy, treacle and chocolate. The taste is slick, oily, umami, liquorice, earthy, bark, cacao nibs, ashy, treacle and fruit cake with a slick finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Not too shabby.

Cask @ Dove Street, Ipswich. Medium head with medium duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, hops, fruits, caramel and has a nice bitter finish.
