Blend #5 pour at Side Project Brewing. Pours a clearish gold with orange highlights and full 2 fingers of spritzy, white foam that lingers. Brett right off the bat, but elegantly done. Subtle mineral aromas with bright lemon zest, hay & grain husk aromas. Clean and crisp on the palate. Perfect scratchy carbonation that refreshes the palate after every sip. More lemon zest, funk and hay on the finish. Toasted oak on the nose and palate as well. A restrained tartness, but nothing overstated and everything in its right place. A laser beam of a beer.

Keg at Beavertown Extravaganza. It pours lightly hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is musty, sweaty, cracker, cereal, bread, funk, hay and minerals. The taste is crisp, dry, light tartness, minerals, cracker, saltine, grass, apple, pear, sour candy, e=melon, sugar, hint of acidity and barnyard. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Not much depth to it, but it is pretty chuggable.

(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 1. Blend #4. Hazy golden, orange, creamy white. Nose is strangely soapy with real extreme acidity, really puckering. Taste is basic soap, vinegar, acidic, body is the same. Not very impressive, not all Side Project beers are rightfully hyped in my opinion.

Sampled at the RateBeer Best Festival 2016. Pouts clear yellow with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds dry wheat, lemon rind. Light sweet flavour with further wheat character, biscuits, straw, lemony accents. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean on the finish, with touches of bitter straw, citrus fruits, some hay, pale grain, wheat flakes. Lovely stuff. Very well balanced.
