Keg at the 4th Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Session 2, 01/05/2015. Light golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is bitter tropicana, straw, light wood strains, bitter lemon, earthy, funk blanket. Taste comprises lemon rind, light vanilla, herbal notes, spice, bitter citric shreds. Medium bodied, fine carbonatin, crisp clean close. Decent enough clean drinking saison refreshment, delivers well enough for the ABV.

The beer is yellow-tan and quite cloudy. Big white head. Seems like solid enough retention. Some lacing, etc. The aroma has a big fresh grain flavor. Light and very pleasant. Some wine barrel. A tiny bit of band aid/medicinal flavor. A little bit of funk. Taste is light and fresh. A bit more of that Belgian medicinal flavor. Mild oak. Soft vinous note. Fairly dry.

Poured from a bottle courtesy of popery. Aroma is has a medium light ester note with a lot of pear, red apple and lighter stone fruit. Light citrus note. Moderate grain notes with a bit of a bread note. Pours a hazy, pale, yellow straw with a medium sized, thick, white head with decent retention as it recedes to a thin film that lingers. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with a bit of grain, bread and wheat. Medium light acidity with some light lemon notes. Medium low esters of pear, stone fruit and light banana. Medium bitterness. Light floral and spice hop notes. Dry finish. Mouthfeel is medium light to light bodied. Low, but present astringency with low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice grisette with nice ester and malt profile. Light acidity and soft mouthfeel. Faint hop character.
