Can from Homebargains Inverurie (so wasn't expecting too much...). It pours lightly hazy golden - amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, clean, bright, nice piney hops, zingy citrus, orange, grapefruit, tangerine, apricot, and some biscuit. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, pleasing bitterness which lingers throughout, touch green, piney action, peppery snap, pithy, zesty, orange, grapefruit, touch of campari, papaya and a touch of sweet biscuity malt. Finish is firmly dry. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Hits the spot with that west coast pale vibe. Quenching and moreish. A bargain at this price.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden amber and hazy. Nicely proportioned head. Nose - oranges and apricots. Light herbal note. Taste - more orange and herbal notes. Light resin and biscuit at the back. Palate - close to medium bodied. Dry, bitter but balanced finish. Overall - quite good. Aroma better than taste.
