NEW WORLD IPA.
Our city was under attack. Bland, tasteless, mass-produced lager infiltrating every supermarket shelf. Then shone a ray of light: Everyday Hero swooped in to save his hometown. Combining drinkability with a balanced attack of citrus, floral hops and a solid honey malt backbone. No longer will our town be subjected to flavourless conglomerates, thanks to Everyday Hero. Let Everyday Hero save your everyday.
MALT: Pilsner
HOPS: Magnum, Amarillo, Citra
YEAST: American Ale

330ml can from Beers of Europe. Pale cloudy straw colour, small white head. White grape, citrus, pale malts aroma. Taste is a light fruity citrus and grape, onion, decent dose of grassy bitterness with a touch of spice. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Nice.

Can. Fridge lurker so just passed it’s BB date. Light haze on a yellow gold. Fine white foam. Nose has ripe melon and ripe citrus. Some pineapple. Biscuity malt. Taste errs on the sweet side overall with a piny bitterness. Light and easy drinking. Foamy carbonation. Moderate lingering bitterness to finish.

Backlog February 2017. Clear golden body under a moderate sized off-white head. Fresh hoppy aroma with grapefruit, some tropical fruit and fresh grass. Taste is light pale malt with grapefruit, some pine and medium bitterness. Medium body and same aftertaste. Nice and easy thirst quencher.

Can from M&S, Wycombe. Hazy, very pale yellow, with a white head and a moderate fizz. Mild tropical fruit aroma. Flavour is sweet pineapple and grapefruit, with just a touch of dank. It finishes with a light grassy bitterness in the dryish finish. More-ish - a decent SIPA.
