From tap at The Scrapyard, Alkmaar. Lots of coconut in the aroma with milk chocolate, that lovely 'liquid Bounty' aroma. Does lend itself better to a fuller abv/body beer though. Cocoa, some roasted malt, vanilla, caramel, more milk chocolate. Bittersweet taste. I'm a sucker for coconut.

Pours a bit thin, but good roasty black colour with some light brown head. Loads of sweet coconut in the smell, some milky chocolate. Body is pretty thin and watery, unfortunately. Taste is decent, fairly bitter but not too much, coconut, chocolate. OK!
As I get further into the can, the wateryness and odd bitter start getting more offensive. Really needs more body and more chocolate.

Panda thanks to SHIG, at the should have been at Pig's Ear tasting, Watford 04/12/20. Black with a moderate tan covering. Nose is coconut fudge, chocolate, light roast, nutty tones, vanilla essence. Taste comprises Bounty Bar, chocolate, spice, toffee, brown sugar melt, hint of coffee, sweet malts, light roasted elements. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light kiss of booze. Decent impy ... good all round balance.

Shig panda at not a tasting. 4/12/2020. A clear mahogany brown coloured pour halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, big coconut, sun tan lotion, chocolate. Flavour is composed of bitter dark chocolate, coconut, raisin, spicy Jamaican cake,. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, bitter, moderate carbonation. Good.

4/12/2020. Can sample courtesy of SHIG. Pours close to black with a small beige head. Delicious aroma of dark chocolate bounty bar, caramel, touch of Jamaican spiced bun, and light roasted malt. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Sweet coconut finish. Enjoyed this.

Can: Poured a black with a tan ring head. Aroma is coconut and chocolate, vanilla. Taste is like a mounds candy bar, coconut, dark chocolate, light vanilla, maltiness.

Black with a minimal lightbrown head. Aroma of coconut and hot chocolate. Sweet with a nice balance with coconut, chocolate and some malt sense. Medium bodied, light carbonation.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black, tan foam. Big coconut, chocolate, sweet, a bit umami, a bit of milk, bitter finish, quite full-bodied.
