Can from Beer 52. A strong aroma of chocolate, coconut and some blackcurrant. Pours jet black with a transient minimal beige head. In the mouth the main flavour is the bitterness of coffee grounds, together with strong dark chocolate and some creamy milk and coconut. Finish is extremely bitter. Jury is out on this one.

ABV: 8.0%. Cloudy dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good - lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, cocoa, coconut, lactose, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, chocolate, coconut, cocoa, lactose. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20200909]

Bergstua. Svart, Høyt mokkafarget skum som daler sakte. Aroma av kokosnøtt & kakao. Myk munnfølelse, Smaken mest kakao. Gjennomgående kokospreg - som dominerer avslutninga.

330ml can picked up at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours a firm, bubbly fawn-coloured head slowly diminishing over a pitch black body. Clingy lacing. Attractive aromas of coconut, not overdone, and chocolate, smoothly roasted. Well blended malt-driven taste of coconut chocolate, cocoa, and a backdrop of mild liquorice, lactose backbone. Bittersweet finish, nicely roasted. Good drinking early on a Saturday afternoon. (At home, Tromsø 22.08.2020).
