Sesoon

Pours hazy orange, some bubbly head that is reducing rapidly. Looks like a saison. Aroma has some spicy rye, malty and bit of wheat sourness. Taste is having some mild cloves and banana, rye spiciness and hop bitterness are framing this in a great deal. For me it feels like a bitter hefeweizen and not really a saison. Hops are somewhat overshadowed with rye spiciness, so lacking fragrance but has some robust bitterness. Not badly made but still a little bit too rough and unbalanced for me to really enjoy it.

On tap at Pudel, Tallinn. Close to completely clear golden without much head to speak about. Fairly mild aroma, grainy and fruity with some yeasty notes, hints of herbs and citrus. Moderate sweet with some acidity and surprisingly mild flavours and a certain bitterness. In the end fairly tasty and certainly sessionable.

33cl bottle. Poured amber, unclear, thick white head. Sweet apricots, spicy notes, yeasty notes. Flavor has peaches, barnyard notes, slight tartness. Not much rye here, but overall a tasty saison.
