Taking cues from traditional British and European brewing and hurtling them into the 21st century, Nocturne is our modern take on the classic porter. Dark, rich, and smooth mashed with six different malts including a healthy dose of pale chocolate, lightly hopped with Columbus and fermented on our house yeast blend.

22/4/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers! Pours almost black with a small creamy beige head. Aroma of coffee, milk chocolate, milky cocoa, roasted malts, caramel and touch of nut. Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, light creamy texture, very soft carbonation. Nicely done.

Can from Elusive tap. Rich malty creamy chocolate aroma, with some underlying dark berries. Dark with a cola tint. Disappointingly the foamy tan head is sparse and recedes quickly. Initial fruity sourness back up by a bitter core. Creamy chocolate appears before the berries reassert themselves with added sweetness. Medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Average-fizzy carbonation. Dry astringent finish.
