A delicious dark ale, made with caramel and caramalt, which gives this beer a smooth undertones of caramel and toffee.

Cask @ The Grove, Huddersfield. Hardly a stout given the caramel is extremely dominant here, there’s hardly any roasted malts. It’s sweet enough tasting in a travelling carnival sense and has an aroma to match this. Sugary but good.

On tap at Ritz JDW, Lincoln. Almost black colour with a beige head. Aroma suggests it will be very caramel sweet but the taste is more subtle and has vanilla and fruit.
